Virtual reality learning solution with 360° photos
Together with NS, we developed a Virtual Reality learning solution for the annual re-instruction of train drivers. Using 360° photos, participants practice with all operating procedures, including those that are infrequent, which quickly erodes knowledge. The VR environment makes it possible to practice critical scenarios in a safe environment, which are difficult to replicate in practice. The VR solution also reduces costs by eliminating the need to schedule people and equipment.

The VR learning solution gives operators a complete learning experience, combining photo, video and sound effects. The realistic example scenarios establish a link between theory and practice, making the information immediately applicable to participants.
VR technologies deployed affordably
Virtual Reality has the image of being relatively expensive. The use of 360° photographs makes it possible to deploy Virtual Reality technology in an accessible and affordable way. The learning solution is also widely accessible because it can be followed not only with VR glasses, but also on laptop or tablet. The VR solution is linked to NS’ learning management system, so that results and progress are recorded in a central location.
