This time we introduce you to Anniek Vos, Digital Learning Specialist at inBrain.
How do we see your personality reflected in your work?
‘My personality is mainly reflected in the contact moments with the customer and my colleagues. I connect and I do my best to create a nice atmosphere. I believe in bringing the great stories to the table when people are at ease. Stories from the shop floor that illustrate what work is like is also exactly what I look for during a work session with the client. I then work this into examples and scenarios that the target audience can identify with and relate to. Then it comes full circle nicely.
What characteristic makes you do your job better?
‘This is a stew of curiosity and analytical skills. The two combine to give me great energy to make a new subject my own and to quickly grasp the common thread.’
Favorite snack on Fry-day?
‘Go team vegetable croquette!
In what location can we find you if you could work anywhere in the world?
‘Logging in from a tropical island seems like a good idea. Tonga in Polynesia or something (edit: this also seems like the colleague publishing this article). Dive into the sea, dive into a new topic for a module. Fingers crossed for good working internet.’
If inBrain were an orchestra, what would your role be?
‘After some research, I go for the alto saxophone. It has a warm sound, it gives a good atmosphere and it fits many styles of music. And importantly, there are several saxophones in an orchestra, so you really are part of a team.
